I have been enjoying my self recently and cooked some tasty meals. In particular my first batch of mussels for a while. Stuck to the classics with Moules Mariniere and frites. Used Rick Steins recipe in the BBC website.

I bought the mussels locally at Frank Greenslade Ltd, which luckily for me is just round the corner. I got slighty carried away with amounts and ended up buying a ten pound bag! "No chance" I was told of finishing them all amongst the four of us.

There is a small tupperware container in the freezer of the remaining few and I mean few! Fresh juicy mussels which melted in the mouth. Served up with some frites and some mayo to dip. Very hard to resist.
