Brunch in Alum Chine

First I am going to try and post more regularly, as it has been over a year since my last post, so I hope to upload a few retrospective reviews.

"The Living Room" is a B&B and cafe in Alum Chine located in a converted family home. It is warm, friendly and funky.

Music was playing in the background but more of the chill-out variety and perfect for a Sunday Brunch after a beach stroll. Yes we went to the beach and it wasn't raining and we saw the sun and everything!

Although this time last year we went for a swim and yes it was freezing!!!

So this is an easy one, great food. I had the fry up which came with a combination of sweet and ordinary potatoes. Everything cooked well. The poached egg was spot on, sausages and bacon were genuinely meaty.

 

Mel had the ham hock which she says was equally yummy.

We both had lattes. Which were strong and delicious. So we had a second one.

So this one is highly recommended. This is our new Sunday Brunch spot and if standards continue should take some beating. Enjoy.
