The Cow Ashley Cross -Reopened
Yes the Dorset Food blog is back!
First stop 'The Cow' in Ashley Cross.
Sipping a crisp pint of Aspall cider.
The whole ground floor has been opened up to provide a great horseshoe bar which lots of seating.
Good lighting and lots of initimate tables.
A well priced food menu with steak for around £11 to be reviewed.
My designated driver says ...
As designated driver I unfortunately can't try all the delights on the drinks menu, but will definitely try the very enticing raspberry royale next time, or at 3.95 each maybe even a couple!
However on popping to the bar next to order one of the softails on the menu was told they didn't have either of them. Disappointing! Hopefully a blip as it is the run up to Christmas but the final verdict remains undecided until I get to try an elderflower fizz.
