Coffee and a bagel at the Little Red Roaster on Ashley Cross Green.

All the shopping done and the ingredients for Thai moule a la Raymond Blanc, watch this space ... A great local establishment as it does everything right.

Welcoming atmosphere, good service, great coffee and good food.

Extra's are no problem such as soya latte or an extra shot of expresso, although it does add to the price and at £12 for 2 coffees and 2 bacon bagels you wouldn't call it cheap, but probably no more expensive than its chain rivals. Also cheaper if you take away.
 A jug of fresh water with lemon is always available so you dont have to go through the laborious tap water scenario.

The bagels are made on-site and the coffee is ground and I assume roasted on-site as well. 

Quirky sort-of shabby chic decor and good music in the background (not obtrusive). I find the seating a little uncomfortable, probably not designed for the more substantial male! A mixture of wooden kitchen style chairs, cinema seats and coffee bean bags.

So to sum up great coffee, yummy home-made bagels. Friendly service and a feeling that you are actually welcome.
